Tottenham followers had been left incensed on Sunday after Lucas Bergvall’s objective towards Southampton was dominated out following a five-minute VAR test.
The midfielder fired residence from close-range after Cristian Romero headed the ball into his path from a free-kick.
However Romero was adjudged to have been a fraction offside as he received the header, which led to the VAR ruling out Tottenham’s objective.
The assistants at Stockley Park took an egregious 4 minutes and 53 seconds to resolve that Romero was offside.
