Chesterfield proprietor Phil Kirk has died aged 59, the membership has introduced.
An announcement, posted to the League Two aspect’s account on X, learn: ‘It’s with nice unhappiness that we announce that the membership’s proprietor, Phil Kirk, has died on the age of 59, following a brief sickness.
‘Our ideas are with Phil’s household and associates.’
Kirk had been identified with most cancers in March and entered palliative care earlier this month.
