Cristiano Ronaldo may miss the primary recreation of the World Cup after being handed his first ever worldwide pink card towards Eire on Thursday.
The Portugal veteran was given his marching orders in Dublin on the hour mark for an elbow on Dara O’Shea together with his aspect 2-0 down and staring down the barrel of a defeat.
