Forward of Kolkata Knight Riders’ IPL 2025 opening match towards Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Saturday, celebrity Shah Rukh Khan delivered a pep speak to his cricket crew, asking them to be “wholesome and comfortable”.
The 18th Indian Premier League (IPL) kicks off at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders taking over perennial underachievers Royal Challengers Bengaluru amid a looming risk of rain.
The official Instagram web page of Kolkata Knight Riders shared the video of SRK speaking to the crew members, which is led by new skipper Ajinkya Rahane this season.
“God bless you. Please be wholesome, be comfortable,” the 59-year-old celebrity stated, additionally thanking coach Chandrakant Pandit for taking care of the crew.
“Welcome aboard to the brand new members. Thanks Ajinkya for becoming a member of us and being our captain. God bless you and I hope one can find a superb dwelling right here and play effectively with all of us. God bless you all. Have a superb night. A very good match and be wholesome all of you,” SRK additional stated.
Shah Rukh co-owns the KKR crew with the actor Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta.
Rajat Patidar is main the RCB crew that options mega-star Virat Kohli.
