BCCI vice-president and Congress Rajya Sabha MP Rajeev Shukla will characterize India on the Board of Administrators on the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) whereas former treasurer and BJP heavyweight Ashish Shelar would be the Government Board Member within the continental physique, secretary Devajit Saikia introduced on Friday. With BCCI secretary Jay Shah taking up because the Chair of the Worldwide Cricket Council, his place on the ACC Board grew to become vacant. Until lately he was President, ACC. “On behalf of the BCCI Workplace Bearers and Apex Council, we want each of them a profitable tenure because the ACC works in the direction of selling, growing and strengthening cricket in Asia,” Saikia was quoted as saying in a press launch.
Within the subsequent ACC cycle, Pakistan’s Mohsin Naqvi is slated to go the continental establishment.
